ekey®
BIT offers a convenient solution to PC and Internet application
access problems. Passwords and User-Id’s are never
to be forgotten or lost. Applications can be secured with
fingerprint technology.
The finger scanner of ekey® BIT is activated by the
application. The LED below the sensor (not visible in
a state of rest) blinks red as soon as it is activated.
The user swipes their finger at across the scanner in
order to convert the fingerprint image into a minutiae
template (called a key code). The key code is evaluated
by the application and authorized if authentic.
